- You may find the aluminum component cheaper, but it adds up more to the expense because of its maintenance in the long run.
- The copper unit is approximately double to the price of aluminium. However, it is worth the price. It requires less maintenance or replacement.
- The material used is pretty less in aluminium as compared to the copper units, which reduced the manufacturing cost.
- Aluminium condensers are flexible in shape and size and easy to work on; however, the copper ones require extra effort; they can even take some time to get fixed.
- During the service call, the aluminium condensers can be fixed at your premise, but that may not be the case with copper condensers.
- Lastly, the condensers are the external units of a gadget. Hence there are possibilities that copper gets stolen, which is not the case with aluminium.
Therefore, it is advised to keep the unit secured as it’s an investment that you are making.

A lot of times, we have seen the technician regarding condenser coils. Mostly, the defect happens in the aluminium coils. In most cases, it doesn’t get fixed. You have to replace it with another one.
Whereas in copper coil, it can easily be repaired, though it can take some time; however, you won’t have to purchase a new one. This results in saving a considerable amount of money on maintenance as well.
